Imposing WILL – a BIG Spiritual NO-NO!

Hello light-filled spirits of my heart!

I was in meditation this morning and had a huge message come through that I was clearly guided to blog to all of you today.  And that was…drum roll please….

It is a huge spiritual NO-NO to IMPOSE your WILL on others or allow others to IMPOSE their WILL on you!

You may be asking what exactly that means.  I will explain.  To impose one’s will on another is to force or push your own agenda and what you want on someone through manipulation (subtle or overt), lying, abusive behavior, judgement, criticism, fear, threats, taking things away, anger, sadness, grief, depression, anxiety, logic, crying, guilt, blame and a myriad of other behaviors that make a person “give in” and feel disempowered in your presence.  Imposing will is a form of disempowerment and the using of FEAR to get what you want.

Many institutions, businesses and organizations do the same to their clients and sometimes their employees through the rules they design to serve their best interests and impose their will on others.  Let’s take the IRS for example or debt collection companies.  Some of their behaviors could truly be categorized as imposing will to the detriment and disempowerment of those they say they serve.

So just for a moment, get quiet and ask yourself this honest question.  Have you ever imposed your will on someone?  A spouse, a family member, a friend, an employee, etc?  We all have at some point in our lives.  The reason is irrelevant.  There is no reason on this Earth or in the Heavens that can justify imposing one’s will on another.  If you have in the past or are presently imposing your will on anyone or anything, it’s time to look at the truth of your behavior.  Forgive yourself, ask that person or persons to forgive you either directly or in Spirit while in meditation and prayer and release yourself of this need to impose will and disempower other souls around you.  In the end, it hurts you personally and spiritually.  What you put out in energy comes back to you.  Those who tend to impose WILL on others were in many instances abused in many ways as children and learned how to impose WILL by the adults who did it to them.  It is usually a familial pattern and one that was adopted for survival.  Many souls are still living in that state of survival vibrationally and needing to be freed of this harmful pattern for it hurts everyone.

Now ask yourself this question and be honest.  Has anyone ever imposed their WILL on you either in the past or presently?  If so, why are you allowing it?   When you surrender your power to the one imposing, you are giving in to FEAR and allowing yourself to be controlled by that energy of imposition – whether it be a person or an institution.  Don’t surrender your WILL in FEAR!

Many in the world have experience childhood situations where adults imposed their WILL on us in disrepectful and harmful ways.  In these instances, healing and forgiveness of all involved is needed so that you are released from the energy and vibration of feeling you were a victim.  This empowers you to not continue attracting such situations in your adult life because you have released that vibration.

The truth is we have all imposed our WILL in some way on others and others have imposed their WILL on us at some point.  To move forward from here is to COMMIT to being a more conscious being of Light and becoming acutely aware of when you may be imposing your will on others or others may be imposing their will on you.  In these instances, release the need to impose your will and need to be right.  Surrender to the greater truth of who you are and who they are.  Learn to handle conflict without passion.

If you are being imposed upon, stand in your powerful light and refuse to give in to the Fear or surrender your WILL in that circumstance.  Embrace your powerful self and release yourself from the binds of the one imposing.  Stand in your TRUTH!  Don’t give in.  Bless them, forgive them and move forward surrounded in the protection of your light.
